In May 2014, I took part in a three-day hackathon arranged by The Center for Science and the Imagination at Arizona State University on The Future of Reading.

Working with Dan Gillmor, Eileen Gunn, and Kiyash Monsef among others, we discussed, wrote about, and built new ways of engaging with words.

Among my hacks:

I employed Mechanical Turkers to reinterpret Frankenstein

I adapted some Javascript to power a literary game

I waxed poetical on remix culture.

You can see the results of the day here.
