
Ackermann’s Repository was a British magazine that existed between 1809 and 1829, aimed at people interested in art, politics, manufacturing and fashion. It’s still highly sought after for its detailed colour plates illustrating the latest fashions; however, I particularly like the way that each issue would feature four samples of the latest textiles on its front cover.
