Twins

give a magazine a hug today

A few blogs have commented on the accidental juxtaposition of Wired and Wallpaper* (serves them right for being so Helvetica happy). CR Blog reports that The Church of London has gone one better with their two publications, the remarkable film magazine Little White Lies and their standout surf-and-more mag Huck. Even the cover lines don’t clash.

These two will probably never be placed accidentally together given their different genres – but I’d encourage newsstands to give it a go, just this once. Lovely stuff.

Back “before the end of the year“. Disclosure: I have a piece in the latest (last?) edition. I was invited to contribute, which is a little different from the UGC model it espouses; I’ll receive the same payment as all the other contributors, though hopefully the free subscription will be transferred to the still-running JPG
