• I was born in the UK, and have lived in London, Barcelona, Madrid and Hong Kong. I currently live in New York City.

• I make remarkable experiences, and don't understand the purpose of any other kind.

• Projects I have created have been featured in The Economist, Time magazine, BBC World Service, New York Times, Monocle, The Sunday Times, Boston Globe, Philadelphia Inquirer, The Hindu Times and El País.

• I'm also an award-winning journalist. I've written for
The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, The Times of London,
Wired and The Believer among many others. I was one of six New Journalists of the Year in the UK in 2001.

• I write plays. My 'Dreaming America' trilogy will be staged in London by Vivid Dreams sometime in the next year.

• I give talks. Recently I've done this at Brown University, the Business Innovation Factory, Sofia Design Week in Bulgaria, the Art Directors Club in New York, the Istituto Europeo di Design in Spain and the Society for Newspaper Design in Portugal. Mostly I talk about editorial design and the future of storytelling.

• I've been working on online projects since 1998.

• I'm currently the Books Editor at The Huffington Post. You can watch me doing that here, and here.

• Please feel free to drop me a line at the email/number to the left. Perhaps we can work together on something fun.
