You're nicked, sunshine

In a vanishing act echoing the film The Thomas Crown Affair, the picture was stolen from its usual position and replaced with a replica - despite a 24-hour guard in the lobby.

Well played guys. Top, top work. Can't wait for the movie.

Elsewhere, I've mentioned before about the partworks here in Barca but there are some new ones worth a nod too: miniature books (and bookcase), replica tiny pistols, to-scale-models of sailing ships and... pipes. Yes, genuine, fully working Pipes of the World. First issue: Einstein. To follow: Sherlock Holmes, Van Gogh and Anthony Hopkins (who doesn't smoke a pipe, but so what?).

Also, if you aren't in my family, there's no doubt that your not me (sic).

In your absence the advert for "Miniature Classics" has arrived on British TV screens. When you first view this commercial for tiny versions of Wuthering Heights you presume you've flicked onto yet another Sketch Show. Then the horrible truth dawns on you.
