37 steps to heaven

Via Barry comes 37 signals, a design agency that implements new versions of things that don't work as they should. Customers complain to them about their banks' websites or whatever, and then they do a new version for free, in the hope that the bank will a) learn from their mistakes and b) hire them to do it better. Either way, examples are posted on the web for all to learn.
It's a bit early for me to know for sure how much they follow through with the ideal, but it all seems very Cluetrain/World of Ends, and all very healthy too. Customer-frustration led solutions.
